Do any of you suffer from tinnitus? If so, how badly? Please vote in the poll

I found some things yesterday which finally helped mine after weeks of worse than usual noise. I'm going to share them here. Please share what you have tried which worked for you!
Supposedly you hear things with your ears going on in your brain.

Yeah, supposedly, but then why did pulling my ear make it quiet. It's clearly not happening in my brain (although it might be happening in someone else's. Today is it quieter - I really can't hear the change in tone  which is usually so annoying). I'm excited about what I found yesterday.
After 21 years of shooting Artillery and Mortars in the Army, I have significant hearing loss recognized by the VA (20% just on hearing loss).
I have pretty severe Tinitus - I have to sleep with the TV or radio on otherwise it drives me nuts.
Its like I am standing next to a rushing waterfall.
But, I have learned to deal with it.......

It makes sense that if the sound is consistent you can tune it out better. For me mine had two or three tone changes, so it has been very hard to ignore. Please try some of the things in the videos I'm going to post, and let me know if any of them work, or at least make it quieter. I've seen people plunged into depression by tinnitus, so anything which helps as got to be shared.
This is the manoeuvre I tried first - definitely quietened things down.

Then I tried this - no idea how this is supposed to work, but found it relaxing. I will probably use this again.

This is the one I suggest you try @Grendelmort - the results are pretty spectacular.

Tinnitus can also come from issues in your neck, apparently!

Interesting you should say that. I was in a helicopter crash and compressed the C-4, C-5 and C-6 vertibrae plus broke my arm.
