The evidence of them fighting is recorded and the strongest proof is the "FACT" of exploded nuclear material found in several countries that coincides with the pictographs showing the flying machines and the nuclear clouds and then you also have the Sumerian texts which talk about the fighting.
The biggest question that one should be asking is with all the FACTUAL information out there WHY is the WORLD leaders still denying their existence??

If we and everything that we can see and touch is made from 'star stuff' and the fact that there's more stars in the Universe than grains of sand on this planet, then logic alone dictates that there must be life on other planets in a big way.
From what I've read there are are numerous types of aliens who've visited planet Earth.
It is said that the not so good aliens are constrained from dominating other life by a universal dictate [said to be very similar to the 'prime directive'] and/or by the good ones who protect life.
When world leaders hide knowledge from humanity it's not ever for altruistic reasons.
Keeping us away from free energy would be one.

He instructed his Disciples to do three main tasks:
1. Cast out demons;
2. Heal the sick;
3. Share His teachings.
So, fast-forward a couple centuries, and what do we find?
What are Priests, Pastors and Ministers doing?
They are pretty good about teaching Scripture (especially the parts about how we are supposed to be tithing
).
But how much time do they spend casting out demons?
How much time do they spend healing the sick?
Trust me, those demons that were around 2,000 years ago have not gone anywhere.
Demons are an energy form, and they don't "die" or "go away".
Add to that the fact that folks are so much more into drugs, booze and other nefarious activities, that myriads more demons have been called into being amongst us.

Oh yes, for sure. I didn't mean to imply they were not around before.
I would guess they have been in existence on this earth since the very beginning.
It all links me to alien = fallen angels but this is too long to discuss and it might sound as crazy as it sounds.
