I believe in Aliens even though I have never knowingly met one, although i have been suspicious a time or two of some people i met.
What i do know is there is tons of evidence that supports Aliens and or dimension travelers exist. There is also evidence that says there are many species of Aliens and other things that we have been told were myths.
I have given a little thought to this topic about is there a connection between the growing insanity among our species with regards to illogical thinking processes by left leaning people. I am using the term people VERY loosely as i am NOT sure if they are still human as there actions say no, but there physical looks say yes.
The tech advances of these Aliens is far more then we know and so why would they want to change us? That gives in to some VERY scary stuff as IF they wanted to annihilate us it would have happened long ago.
That brings us to the idea talked about only in small scale discussions as it is not wanted to be heard by many. We may just be a experiment and are being tested and changed as they see fit. This does have some merit as our DNA shows we were changed/modified.
I think this thread may turn out to have some really good minds discussing this. I am looking forward to hear others thoughts.
Many years ago I read where some scientists were saying that there's no doubt that we could have naturally evolved from apes since orangutans for example, have something like 98-99% identical DNA to humans* .... but, there is a point in that evolution where the change occurred ten times faster that cannot be explained. The so-called 'missing link'.
The Old Testament has some very curious verses that point, to my mind, to space travelers. The OT calls them the Nephillim.
Look at the verse "I am a jealous God. You will worship no other God but me." There is only one Creator. Since God knows this why would He/She feel threatened by non-existent 'other Gods'. It would not matter what we call the Divine nor what aspect of the Almighty that one casts ones focus because all and any worship would be directed at the one and only God.
The Almighty is 'perfect, beyond error' so therefore could not possibility exhibit such a gross human failing as jealousy. Either the Divine is perfect or He/She is as fucked up as the rest of us.
These petty human emotions as ascribed by the OT that God is 'jealous, angry, vain, vengeful' is simply not possible. Surely they must apply to advanced beings from somewhere else.
Back in the 60s, missionaries discovered tribes in Papua New Guinea who had never seen white man before. Because they flew in a Cessna, could produce fire with matches and could capture their image with a camera, they considered these missionaries 'Gods'. [Then they ate them

Back in the OT days man was rather ignorant. Imagine how they would have viewed space travelers with technology that's way more advanced than what we have today. Erik von Daniken was correct; they would have certainly called their spaceships Chariots of the Gods.
I've got a couple of books by Zecharia Sitchin that I haven't got around to reading but from what I do know of his theories I think that he's close to the truth.
*While on the train home many years ago a group of Down Syndrome adults alighted. At the time I had been reading a bit on the similarities in DNA between humans and apes.
While observing these DS people, something was tugging at my brain. There was something very familiar that I could not put my finger on.
Then it dawned on me; the way this girl was pursing her upper lip reminded me of a similar mannerism that can be seen in orangutans.
Looking closer I also realised that those with Down Syndrome often have eyes that are set in a dish-like socket/surrounds [Sorry, not sure how to describe it] that is reminiscent of an orangutan.
Wondering if there was any connection, I then remembered that most humans have 23 sets of chromosomes. Orangutans have 24.
Those with DS have an "extra full or partial copy of chromosome 21". So in-other-words, those with DS have 24 chromosomes.
It seems to me that that distinction is more than just a coincidence and may be a part of the missing puzzle.
Is Down Syndrome a throwback from genetic engineering?
[For the record; the last time that I raised this subject on another forum I received howls of outrage. It's not my intention to cause any offence, just having a discussion amongst adults]
