@Catch is our benefactor. He pays the rent and utilities.  He also will accept donations but he has never asked for any.
I have never heard anything about the owner of the Fringe being a druggie or misusing donations.  My understanding was that he had a new wife and child and was neglecting the forum. .

The GLP peeps call it the 'Pickle Purge':
That occurred around the same time COP went down.
I jumped that sinking ship a little before that with a couple of others.
@Aquarius on ION told the members there about The Fringe and we joined up.
When that went downhill this place was created by most of the MODS there and most of us followed.
So we're really four groups that came together here: The original TF, GLP, COP and ION all in one place!

When Trinity decided he didnt like Trump and Banned Comedian at glp. Someone reached out to him to come to the Fringe, and some very cool posters followed him.

I was gone from GLP before the Pickle Purge. I think that I was from the Super Bowl Purge. I joined LOP in the first few days that D opened it. 
I bounced around between there and AE for a while.

That the old forum. Owner was a crack head, he steal everyone donation
smoke it up, never come online only to show him face once in a while.

@Catch decide to start this place and he bring over all the Mods, and most members.

The Fringe hang on for about a year more then the Owner just give up and close it down.
The remaining member who cross posting between both place either stay here, or not post anywhere.

I was part of the Christmas massacre at GeeElPee and been around Elaine's in between then went to Lop and always back at AE

My last time on the forums before I came back last year...was when I went to visit Omega right before he died in August '13 and then I got married and started a family and moved overseas. And left the forums for almost 8 years.
