There are copious videos of massive Russian troop and equipment movement occurring now in and near Crimea at the below link.

Putin ever the opportunist recognizes a palpable weakness of leadership in the US and will jump at the prospect of seizing the country long considered by Russia as their rightful land.
Russia starts their wars in the spring.

As a counter point the Biden - Ukraine link for wholesale grifting and corruption is well known. Hunter Biden's Burisma oil boondoggle is in jeopardy.
Further Soros has had a long history of interference in Ukrainian matters and is considered an enemy of the state in Russia.
This will have no small bearing on how the situation develops.

Russia warns West against sending troops to back Ukraine

Russia warned the West on Friday against sending troops to Ukraine to buttress its ally, after Kiev accused Moscow of building up a military presence on its border.

The United States had pledged on Thursday to stand by Ukraine in the event of Russian "aggression," after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of massing troops on the border.

Weeks of renewed frontline clashes have shredded a ceasefire and raised fears of an escalation of the simmering conflict in eastern Ukraine, where government forces are battling pro-Russian separatists.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia would be forced to respond if the US sent troops.

"There is no doubt such a scenario would lead to a further increase in tensions close to Russia's borders. Of course, this would call for additional measures from the Russian side to ensure its security," Peskov told reporters.

Here is a fairly short explanation of the history behind the Crimean dispute that is from a neutral perspective. Sorry, it has a robot voice narration.

Western media always uses language like "illegally annexed" or "Russian invasion" when reporting on Crimea and it's apparent to anyone who takes a closer look that the narrative lacks honesty and is agenda driven.

This guy has French and Russian parents, lives in Florida with his American wife. He's an ex-NATO intelligence analyst who resigned after realising NATO wasn't interested in the truth.

He doesn't get Trump and what he represents, but his elicitation of the Russian mindset on this, is what's important.

Most of what he says about Russian capabilities bears out in my own research.

Americans don't seem to understand the Russian MIC is far far far more efficient than theirs since it isn't burdened by pork nor politics, period.

It gets things done, in other words.
