Back when the Indy 500 was a huge event. Kind of comes and goes now without much fanfare.

He got into a emergency situation on a snowmobile in 1996. His group got lost in a snow storm and entered a wilderness area.  He was fined a lot money as I remember.

The Unser family is mourning the loss of their patriarch.  There are plenty of Unser family members to carry the torch.

In memory of Bobby Unser.

Prayers for his soul and his family.

In years past the Unser family did lots for the city of Albuquerque, NM and they have a main road named after them "Unser Blvd." In later years the city pretty much turned its back on them for not published reasons. I think it has to do with the city turning into a libtard central.

You can bet that was the reason.
