For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently
downgraded Tropical Depression Claudette, located inland over
western Alabama.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

We are overcast and no rain yet, I'm wondering where the rain is?  I'm in Western North Carolina. The sun has been trying to shine through.
It was raining late last night, or early morning. Overcast all day. Sun will be back out later today.  Cheer

Probably the name Claudette will be retired because of the loss of life associated with it. Expect rough seas and surf along the New England coastline through Tuesday..

The storm left a trail of damage and flooding in its wake, and AccuWeather forecasters say it could cause some impacts along the Eastern Seaboard before it eyes Atlantic Canada.

The storm took a deadly turn Saturday when 13 people in Alabama died, authorities said. Ten of the fatalities, including eight children, were the result of a 15-vehicle crash on Interstate 65. Two others died when a tree fell on their home and one person died after a car ran off the road and was swept into floodwaters, The Associated Press reported.

Pac NW is having record heat for the next few days.
The power went out this afternoon. I was sure they were going to try to cook us to death, but power is back now so I am taking off my tinfoil hat. Lemmie tell you I found it uncanny.
Seattle supposed to get to 103 tomorrow and 113 Monday.
Lucky for me I am near the forest and water at the straight of Juan de Fuca. We are only due for 90's.
Broke out the portable A/C unit just in case.
Helped my neighbors who are older reset the thermostat for comfortable cool. They are older and the lady's younger brother is out of town for a couple weeks. No way could they have figured it out.
My next door neighbor called to check on Mother and I as well.
I live in a good place.

Finally Rained somewhat as Pro Guess Tigated for Yesterday . Sudden Thunderstorm . Came down in Bucket Loads immediately and changed to Barrel Loads for several Hours . Still Raining lightly .

Reminded Me of Florida . . .

Gonna need to be mindful of the Rock Roads . Contours always change with that much water that fast and long . Hope the Culverts took the onslaught .

Is this Danny? Now that it has entered the warm waters of the Gulf Stream it has strengthened considerably.
