We don't have a large troublesome vagrant population, so if it was... that's quite a "business" decision.
Waiting for more details.

Well, here in good old Arizona we have 3 brush fires underway in the state.  Two of them were started by lightning but have not heard about the origin of the third fire.  Historically we have had problems with fire bugs.  Many have been caught and prosecuted.  I don't know what it is about fire that fascinates some people.

Its hot as hell and drier than a pop corn fart.

It is the monsoon season and there is a chance it may rain tonight.  When it rains here, it is an event.  People come running out of their houses to watch it rain.  Its very special because we get so little of it.  I read somewhere that Phoenix gets approximately 4 inches of rain per year.

There is the usual surge in inner-city violence.  Every summer when it gets hot like this people start fighting.  Much of it is gang related imo.

How have you and your Mom been doing through the heatwave that struck your area?

Hugs

Tyson Foods extended a nationwide recall on some chicken products over possible bacterial contamination.
The company recalled more than 450,000 pounds of chicken over concerns that some ready-to-eat products could have listeria contamination.
The products were produced at a Missouri plant from December 26, 2020 to April 13, 2021. Institutions like nursing homes, hospitals, schools and defense locations are affected, as well as stores like Walmart, Wegman’s and HEB.

The total recall now sits at about 9 million pounds of products.

Lmao

We did fine, being near the water. It was hot, but not hell hot. It passed within a week and we have had to turn the heat on at night at times. 55, brrr.

That was worrisome, as we eat chicken patties like they are going out of style.
Still alive!

Oh gosh, 55 degrees at night would be a blessing here in the desert.

Listeria contamination is usually poop transmitted. Clean your shit, Tyson. Literally.
