That time of year ... The sunshine and warmer weather are calling me outside ... Daffodils I planted last fall are starting to bloom Cheer

Been pruning my roses, even though it's a month late ("third week in February"), but it's been too cold and rainy to do it before now !!

Fixed an area in the back yard to do potting and such.
It's a bit of a make-shift arrangement, but it works. Chuckle

Pruned an old fern down to it's root ball, and none too soon!
I accidentally pruned off a couple of the new fronds starting to grow, but in that there are about a hundred +/- fronds coming up that is no biggie.

Several rose bushes plus another fern to go, but bit by bit I'm making progress.

I need to get someone in to do some tilling for me, as the "shrub beds" (I use the term loosely) have not had any attention for God-only-knows how many years and the dirt is packed down solid. I tried to do a bit of digging last summer, but it was like digging in to concrete so decided the best option was to leave it to spring when the ground is still wet.
Guess what? ... Spring is here. Time to get to work. Lmao
