Kyle Rittenhouse Trial
#1
This is gonna be a big one with what constitutes self defense. With what violent actions (and this was violent) are prosecutable vs not so much and how much the legal system has decided to be a political system in and of themselves. Not a dedicated thread yet with it. it doesn't have to be pinned. Just a reference point with it all. I like streamlined and points of reference. Please feel free to post here. Again, the idea is a point of reference vs several threads.

I will start.

Why the judge refused to call the people shot by Kyle "victims." That is important as the trial by public opinion we see all too often....well this judge is trying to keep the hyperbolic out of it and sticking to facts.

I would absolutely agree with the judges ruling. They tried to murder him as well.

Self defense that is a good judge, eliminating the use of victims by the prosecution is a major point.

One of the aggressors was a convicted pedophile.

Kyle needs a medal and the judge and AG that let the pedo walk free need to arrested.

Wait till the judge sees the video of the guy trying to shoot Kyle in the head. I'm hoping he will throw the case out!

Never underestimate the ability of a jury to only hear what they want to hear. Been there and it is hard to be truly objective.

I bet the jury sides with Kyle...

They are probably irritated with Thomas Binger, with his gelled Woody Woodpecker coif.....

I got a distasteful impression watching him over prosecute...The judge was getting antsy behind him....

Bet the judge doesn't like Binger either...
