Who is "they" in this scenario? Serious question. All but the most cultish political party supporters have already seen that this administration's policies have been a disaster. The rest won't because they just won't. They will blame a former president who has been out of office for 2 years. That's what they do. And the Gvt who is enacting these policies will NEVER blame themselves. They will blame "the other side" regardless of the data showing their policies being what is ruining shit. They, again, have no ability of self reflection with those things as they don't have to live with the consequences. That is all just my opinion with it. I am doubtful that many eyes will open for those who refuse to see what is in front of their faces already as people intentionally blind themselves from things that challenge their fundamental beliefs. You see it happen all the time with religious cults. When gvt or a political party becomes your religion and saviour....yeah, that is a hard one.

I’m thinking the moment for things to go all wrong is about here.  Oh the omicron will end this pandemic while we’re pulling items off the grocery store shelf that you can sustain life with.  The game wasn’t intended to stay in anyone place at any one time for very long unless without Trump in the way to mess up their plans, it would’ve all hit at once.  Just would’ve woke up one day in a new world.  But truckers protesting would be like everybody else protesting, we need a more effective way.  Obviously the ruling elite that are nothing but money hungry irresponsible blokes, don’t really care about what we do unless we really hit a fatal nerve on them.  They figure they have done enough planning to have it all in the bag.

I do think you're on to something here. Nothing knee-jerk and immediate, but this could be the needed example used to steer public opinion towards automating more menial tasks. I don't think a single thing happening right now is by chance.
