Released today:
Reporters Mocha Bezirgan and Selene Galas embed themselves with the Freedom Convoy as it travelled from Calgary, Alberta to Ottawa, Ontario during the height of the frigid Canadian winter. Witness never-before-seen footage of the convoy as it made its historic journey to Ottawa and hear interviews with the truckers themselves, including Tamara Lich, who has since been legally barred by court order from speaking about the convoy.
More than half of this documentary is pre-Ottawa footage, interviewing truckers and those along the way and those who cheered them on. The actual Ottawa footage, by contrast, is pretty brief but they did show some good (and bad) moments from that time. Little Potato's speeches are also peppered in at key points.
And, since this is a Rebel News production, there is the "please donate" advert at the end. A good introductory doc for anyone who was unfamiliar with the convoy and its impact on Canada and the world. For everyone else, meh ... not so much.
