Pretty economical old boat. I can run it all day on 4 gallons of gas. Insurance is cheap, it ain't worth much. Maybe a little liability in case I hit  a 200,000 dollar wake board boat.  Eyeroll
@IDR Hope to have bass and ham cakes this coming weekend.

It's down right hurtful to publicize that. Chuckle  Best of luck.

I really dig that paint scheme. It would be a great dive boat.
It's a wrap. As for Sea worthiness there is a reason why emergency services used them for decades, no turning circle but punches the swell on a cloud. It's a plate boat as well.

The Kiwis are right up there in plate boat manufacturers.

In Aus to tow over 2.5mts wide is oversize and to much pissing around. So Trailerable craft.

Surtees NZ, there was a split and a new team started in Aus named Bar Crusher.

Too wide for towing.

When we were diving all the time in Cuba, if not entering the coral reefs from shore we dove from a barrel boat. It's all about stability extracting from the deep. Plus your tired. I really like that boat. It projects a good feel. I hope that doesn't come across to wierd.

The only boat I have now is a sit-on-top kayak. My sailboat was lost in a fire and I never replaced it. I sold the other boats when I needed money.
I’ve had more fun with that kayak than any boat I’ve been involved with. It has been in the water more often than all the others combined.

I've got a Mokai jet powered Kayak ....

This is one of the org. one piece models ....mine is a 2015 3 pcs unit, has 7hp subaru engine with elec start and depending on operator's weight can reach speeds of 20mph !!

That's like the boat we fished off in Alaska.  It belongs to a friend of my brother.   It has a cook stove that he has used for heat if he sleeps on it with his dog.  Really nice craft.

What crazy people do in Idaho and Oregon. Sorry for the infomercial. They have to pay for those boats some how.

Now is the time to get out of the trenches
