What would happen to you - and them - if you blessed 20 people today and it eventually become automatic?

Here's a tip on how you can lift your life into one of gratitude maybe all the time. IIRC, the Bible instructs us to shine our gratitude unceasingly, a.k.a, "pray unceasingly."

Praying unceasingly sounds like a tall order that would be impossible to accomplish. But maybe it's not so hard after all? If we can get just one or two people to turn this gratitude exercise into our "heart's muscle memory," the impact could be enormous.

The attached video can be used to make it happen. I've chosen it because it is full of vignettes of people to look at while the voice overs encourage elevated thoughts. The people might be actors. It doesn't matter if they are, because actors are real people, too. You could use other videos that have a similar format of vignettes of people one after another accompanied by encouraging words.

It's possible that the voice overs might say things that don't fit your beliefs. That's easy to fix. Simply substitute your own words that agree with God.

The technique is simple and has just two aspects. As you watch the video you feel gratitude as deeply as you can towards the person on the screen. You do this as the Christ would do it. How do you do that? You call or ask Christ to come forward in your awareness!

The combination is you're feeling grateful to God for this person as the Christ would do it. You might also notice feelings of adoration, love or forgiveness from time to time.

You might find that the intensity of your gratitude increases or even explodes, like a positive upgrade inside you the more you do this exercise.

So often we want to see God in those we meet, but we forget to actually do this when we see them. Our own thoughts can get in the way. Maybe our mind becomes focused on our shopping cart not bumping into them or something like that. The list of our possible distractions can be nearly endless.

That's why we use the video to practice, just like a sports teams run endless drills. By the time it's game time, the players operate on muscle memory. We can do the same. The result is that we are able to keep our carts from crashing into each other AND feel the gratitude of Christ for the other person all at the same time!

Meanwhile, with this particular exercise, you don't have to wait until you go out into the world for the game of life to take place. That's because you will REALLY be sending Christ's gratitude to each real person you see on the screen!

We don't know where they are at this moment are but God does. Imagine the effect of you and a thousand others bathing that person's soul.

Let's say you heartfelt bless 20 people in the video. And two others do the same. That's 60 miracles that can take place. If you watch three times, that's 180 possible miracles. Let your gratitude flow back to you as well. You might have a miracle or two take place. Or maybe this idea goes viral, and each of the 20 people you focus on get a million heartfelt blessings. The world will never be the same!

One blessing from one person is all it takes. The rest is like endless living waters.

But even if one of the folks on the screen misses out, you've developed a habit for miracle making and will start to find yourself in a state of unceasing prayer more and more.

Plus, you're developing an automatic blessing machine inside yourself. Can you picture what could happen to you and the ones you bless if this becomes your habit?
The beauty of this simple exercise is that you don't have to wait for an "opportunity" to shift your own inner approach to the world. You simply do it. You call forth your gratitude, praise and love onto the person on the screen as you call forth yourself as Christ would do it.

Most really good people long for being good to each other, but then we kick ourselves because we feel like we forgot to do it when we had the chance or maybe we feel like there are not enough opportunities in our life.

But once you do this practice as you watch the video two or three times, you'll notice that there is no time that you aren't doing it. You could be combing your hair, fluffing a pillow, unloading your washing machine, cutting the grass, scraping out the last bit of peanut butter from a nearly empty jar. More and more, you'll shift into automatic gratitude mode. The possibilities are endless and infinite. Not even going to the bathroom is excluded. You'll be praying unceasingly.

Praying unceasingly was the seemingly impossible instruction. Now you know how to make it happen whenever you want! You just never imagined how naturally easy it is to do it.

Please let all of us know your experience with this.

Now that we have officially lost our country, would you please consider doing something positive to restore its glory?

I get those emails every once in awhile.

Forward it to at least 15 other people and make someone's day.  If you don't there will be some disaster to take its place.

This is quite different because there was no manipulative threat. I viscerally dislike those as much as you do. This thread is simply a suggestion for those who ponder how they can pray and experience gratitude unceasingly.

This is also in my 'depression/anxiety' toolkit.

Of love becomes a lie
That bears the scar of sin too deep

I was taught years ago to practice "an attitude of gratitude", so what you have posted fits into that nicely.

For those who are empathic, we have all experienced a warming of our heart when someone expresses gratitude to us.

Use that as a guideline, and express gratitude to others at every opportunity.

Just thinking gratitude is empowering to the one you are thinking of.  It will energize them in a very positive way.

Thank you so much for pointing that out that any person of any spiritual persuasion can use this exercise equally. :-) Glad you like it, too! Heartflowers
