The word "legion" is a military term and unfortunately, some military are haunted by their adverse experiences that they still remember, haunted by memories. 

That doesn't mean that members of the military are "possessed". 

Judaism had a very different view to how Christians view it. In Judaism, the "Shedim" were identified by their "claw feet", how many transgender have "claw feet?" 

The Hebrew word for it is "Shedim". I wonder if that's where we get the word 'dim' from.  

It's been my opinion for many years now, that military personnel returning from foreign lands, especially areas that are not Christian, bring "entities" back with them.  
As has been said, they are not "possessed", but they are continually plagued by the unclean spirits that accompanied them home.

It not only affects the returning person, but it also affects every person in their household.  

The unclean spirits are not in them, but have a hook in them.

The fact that you or anyone has been in the military does not impress me in the slightest. I was married to a Korean War veteran. He was the most evil man I have ever personally known. Almost every police officer with a military background is hateful and cruel. Being trained to murder your fellow humans is not something that should be praised in civil society. IMO.

Thank You so much for reaching out with this PM. It took a lot of courage to do this, and courage you have. I'm sorry that you feel that way about those who have served our country in the military or dedicate their lives to serve as a police officer. In every bunch, there will always be some bad apples. However, the overwhelming majority of military members and police officers are good people, who took a pledge to give their life to protect you.

Many veterans who return from war will suffer from PTSD for the rest of their life and in many cases, there is a carryover to their spouse. It can be referred to as secondary traumatic stress or secondary traumatic stress disorder (STS/STSD). Unfortunately, many of these cases go undiagnosed and those suffering continue to live their lives in misery.

When under stress, your natural defenses are down and your body is more susceptible to getting sick. Something else to consider is your aura or your body's energy field. Some have said that your aura encompasses your physical body, your soul, and your spirit or guardian angel. When you are under stress from an abusive relationship or living with someone with PTSD, your body's energy field also becomes susceptible to having an evil spirit latch onto you.

For example, once they get inside your aura and past your spirit or guardian angel, they can begin to consume your thoughts. Sometimes driving or encouraging you to do things that you normally wouldn't. Many are unable to recognize that their mind has been hijacked by an evil spirit. They live with it and accept that this new version of himself or herself is who they are. Your spirit or guardian angel is working 24/7 to get you to realize this. That little voice of reason inside your head will never give up, but many times loses the battle and negative thoughts take over.

Here's some good news, once you are able to recognize that this may have happened to you, there is hope. Through prayer, you can ask for help. You can ask God or higher powers to take away these evil spirits that manifest the negative thoughts that may now consume your life. You can ask for protection from this ever happening again. Through prayer, there is hope.

As the daughter,and later a wife, of Vietnam veterans,I know where she lives. I believe something evil attatches itself to those who go to a foreign land and kill their people. I don't hate the vets because they are tricked into thinking they are doing the right thing. Buth they bring something back,I KNOW it. I'm still battling with it at nearly 60.
My heart goes out to every spouse,child,sibling,ect... of a veteran who has to face those evils along with their loved one.

I lived with a man that was in the Falklands and Northern Ireland, years later he still had nightmares about his experiences. He was suffering from post-trauma like many military do. 

In my experience of fighting off someone else's "entities", they manifested has men that she had sexual relationships with. Very similar to what Jesus did with Magdalene.

The thing was she offloaded them at my house when I didn't have time to listen to what she had to unload. So she just dumped them and left and I had to deal with it has I was far stronger than her spiritually, the true light is always stronger than any darkness.

I've had to deal with "unwanted entities" for years.
That is the reason many Reiki Practitioners refuse to give treatments in their own homes.  
After a time or two of that, I learned the same ... I will ReiKi friends and family here, but not folks I am not well acquainted with.

Just recently (within the last three months!), I invited a good friend (and neighbor) into my home. He had with him an acquaintance he had met at work, who was down on his luck and needed a place to stay for two weeks, so my friend/neighbor let him stay with him and his wife for that time until his new housing situation opened up.  Neighbor just brought him along as he was visiting me (it was just before Christmas) to do the guy a favor of trying to cheer him up and such.

About two months after that, the "acquaintance" sort of went berserk at work and was fired and also lost his housing.  
Turns out the guy was somewhat psycho.  I won't repeat all the things my friend told me had happened at their workplace with regard to that episode.

A few days before my friend/neighbor told me about this, I had nightmares two nights in a row.  Then the following morning as I was coming awake that morning, out of the corner of my eye I literally saw a dark figure standing in the doorway of my bedroom.  It looked like a zombie or something.  Very alarming.  

I have not had a "nightmare" for over 25 years, and had not seen or felt such a dark entity in my home for probably 35 years, so I couldn't figure out why this was happening.
Anyway, at that point I heavily smudged my entire home with sage, plus I sprinkled Holy Water into every nook and cranny of my house.  
Plus LOTS of prayer, of course.  And of course I Reiki'd my house and property.
That took care of the problem invasion of my home.

Then only a couple days later (following my nightmares and the dark vision), I was at my friends/neighbors' house, visiting with them, and they told me what had happened at work.  (the part I stated above, in the second and third paragraphs of this monologue. lol)
I didn't put two and two together until a few hours later, but then I realized OMG ... That was the entity that was in my bedroom that morning!  And also responsible for my nightmares the two previous nights!  

Moral of the story:  Be careful of who you invite into your home !!  

Yes, you may be entertaining angels. 
BUT it's also possible you are inviting unwanted entities into your home.

Those feeling dreams suck when you don't feel them as you wake up. Its good to take it slowly and not just jump out into the day.

I also sincerely pray for this lady, for the Holy Spirit to heal her spirit and give her Peace and understanding. 

I was very good friends with a lady some years ago before I moved from the coast.
She was married to a Vietnam vet, whose PTSD got worse and worse as the years went by.  After a time she had to take a separate bedroom and keep her bedroom door locked.  She did this following waking up in the middle of the night with her husband trying to choke her.  He was still asleep, but thought he was still "over there" and fighting off an enemy. 

I won't relate the whole sad story, but the story ended when she finally left him and within months he drank himself to death.

Anyone who travels to foreign lands is susceptible.  
If they party with them, or are intimate with someone from there ... They are susceptible to getting an "unwanted attachment".
Emotion opens doors.  

As far as that goes, anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs is susceptible.  It opens a door.  
It doesn't have to be in a foreign land.  It can be in your neighbor's house, or the local bar.  Or even your own home.  

Unclean spirits hang around places where folks have lowered their normal alertness, as they know they will find a human to latch onto.  

Of course, being in a war zone, whether one kills or not, is especially bad because of the fear and terror in those situations.

The higher the love vibration, the more that can't happen to a person. It is often the case that if you can believe something like that can happen, then it will, people can be defeated by their own negative thought patterns. I once had an experience of orthodox Christians sending all their negativity towards this healer and I will never forget what they manifested in my bedroom, the power of thought and intention, I held onto my cross and told the energy that the orthodox Christians manifested that it had no place in my reality. In the power of love it was gone instantly. 

Based on what you have all written, I don't think any of you were trained in soul retrieval. Once involved in soul retrieval has Jesus was has a healer, you comprehend his journey to a higher degree. In scripture he said he came to bring back what was "lost", (that can be viewed on many levels, and his words often had and have more than one meaning) and that is a key word found in people that are fragmented. Jesus taught wholeness and fragmentation of the soul energies is the opposite to wholeness. 

Any trauma including accidents can fragment the soul. An example I worked with an Australian police officer that was having panic attacks due to being in a traumatic car accident when we engaged in the soul retrieval work together we discovered that part of his soul was still at the site of the accident and we had to go to retrieve it. 

All post-trauma is due to fragmentation of the soul energy due to the trauma, IMHV, it isn't about "entity attachment". 

The same with post natal depression although to a lesser degree, in post natal depression part of the mother's soul leaves with the baby and that also has to be retrieved. 

Soul retrieval is very powerful work. Fragmentation can also happen with rape cases and it can also be a co-creator of allergies we found. A woman that was raped in a wheat barn has a teenager then developed a wheat allergy. 

Has far as "unclean" are concerned, people often unbeknowingly get married to them in real life. That's a different subject matter altogether to post trauma.

When I spoke at a Mental Health Conference, I spoke of their profession's neglect of the importance of the soul. Mental health professionals in the majority were denied access to learning about the importance of the soul in healing the mind and emotions. That happened when the medical profession went with Freud's work instead of Carl Jung's work. Carl Jung studied the scriptures and theology in depth, he understood the rite of passage, fragmentation of the soul and wholeness. To the best of his ability, he did his utmost to comprehend the teachings of Jesus and Jung was helped to comprehend his teachings by a spiritual woman in the light of love.
