I watch both of them as well. Reno May is good as well although he tends to focus on California because he lives there. Very knowledgeable guy regardless.

As far as edutainment and informational my go to is Paul Harrell. He is about the only person on youtube earth that I can watch shoot a chronograph for 45 minutes and discuss the intricacies of different calibers. The guy from forgotten weapons is good for this category as well.
i watch Reno as well...I live in NY so some similarities...

Paul Harrell is in a league of his own! Drinks

Seen on the youtubes that the gun wing of Remington has restructered under new owners and they have put the workers back on the floor in the newyork plant. Supposed to be back on shelves by this fall under the RemArms brand. According to the video, they will be targeting the high end market, maybe a move back towards quality over quantity?

I would love to see them begin building high quality firearms again.

Like AR-10's in 308/7.62x51 NATO, 7MM-08, 260 Rem, AR-15's in 223/5.56 NATO, 6.5 Grendel, and 300 Blackout.  Yeah3 edit: I left out 338 Federal for the AR-10.

On a side note, just ordered a set of these for my 629. Order confirmation email said 6 week lead time. Will post pic of actual product to compare to promotional picture when they arrive.

Those are nice grips.  I have a 629 and those would look good.

How do they feel when you fire the gun?

Ill be able to answer you in a few weeks hopefully. The order confirmation said up to 6 weeks. Right now it has the black rubber grips that was on it from the factory, which arent bad. I just really like wood grips on a revolver.  Daydream

I'll be interested in factory ammo. IIRC, the only source back in the day was from down in Mexico. Reloaders had to use cutdown .308 brass. Outside of that, time will tell if the new metallurgy has helped durability. The original was known more for parts breakage than simple malfunctions.
