Gillum, the Democratic candidate defeated by DeSantis has been indicted along with his advisor for allegedly conspiring to divert campaign donations for personal gain. This is an indictment by the same DOJ that is accused of being politically driven to go after Trump and the J6 defendants, so I don't think many will find Gillum's claims of being politically targeted credible. Even if it were politically motivated that would not necessarily mean the accused is innocent.
