I really need to quit using firefox, I can't see images or tweets.  It's not just on this website either.
Turn off enhanced tracking, top tool bar left end, looks like a blue shield.
I'll be dog gone if that didn't fix it.  I work in tech support but I couldn't figure this out.

25 Mar, 2020 03:17 / Updated 8 minutes ago

A powerful 7.5 magnitude tremor has slammed Russia’s Far East region, striking off the Kuril Islands, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.

The quake was felt across the region on Wednesday afternoon local time, with a depth of 56.7 kilometers (35 miles). There are no reports of damage or casualties as of yet.
The seism triggered a tsunami watch alert in Hawaii, some 5,600 kilometers away.

It is close depending upon what one considers to be close ... most of the area east is part of a larger much older Caldera ... with newer volcanic craters within that one ... least that is the latest thesis publications i have read ... smaller (still big) sized past eruptions inside of more ancient larger scale immense volcanic eruptions

Evacuation underway on Paramushir island in Russia’s Kurils after 7.2. quake prompts tsunami alert

25 Mar, 2020 04:32 / Updated 7 minutes ago

Quote:Residents of Severo-Kuril'sk, a small town with a population of just over 2,500 on the northern end of the Kuril Islands, are being evacuated to safety after a strong quake prompted fears of a tsunami.

"The safety of the people is the most important for us. It is necessary to make sure that there are no people in the area that may be affected by the wave," Sakhalin Region Governor Valery Limarenko said, as he announced the evacuation on Wednesday afternoon, shortly after the powerful quake shook the town.
The residents of the town, which is located just 30 m (100 ft) above the sea level, are being led to the higher ground. Students and staff of a nursery and a school are among those being evacuated
