According to Les, there isn't any real reason why the church age has to celebrate easter/passover or Christmas. Those were Jewish events and the gentiles weren't there. May indicate that easter doesn't actually exist. There was the Pashal while Peter is in prison, indicating passover instead of easter. Then the catholic church comes along and invents easter after the fertility god Ishtar. So mainly because of that celebrating that is somewhat of a fumble.
