And the early " Sample" Harvests can be quickly and safely dried in the freezer .
Moisture sublimates out of the bud and the cold preserves all the terpenes .
Takes a week maybe for a thumb sized bud .
The flavor and aroma of freeze dried is out of this world .

It would be so cool to grow a LRS here but it's too risky growing outside in my backyard and they're not really suitable for an indoor grow because of their stretchy structure [Meaning yields would be very low in a limited space]
@K1ll_R06U3 might want to chime in on Land Race Sativas . . . .
Stretchy Structure is right . The Panama runs to 16 feet in deep woods plantation .
Indoors takes a little skill . Thankfully not much . Topping and Training . Mother Plant and Cuttings . Continuous Cropping with cuttings is the way to go for a small grow In My HO . IN vision 5 3 foot Bud stalks near harvest . 4 ounces at Said and Done time ?
OK . Whatever .

@ Elric Yes, I reading up on recognizing trichomes.
And the 13-14 week period, that the total time from seed sprout
to the finish bud. I in the beginning of week 5 now, still no flower showing.
Well, maybe it showing at the very top and in between the side branch.
But even if it start to flower this week, the website say it need 8 week
to become full and final
This my first time as I say before so I just keep looking and checking it
to see the progress it make. It still grow about a inch a day or more.

. Yes, Sea of Green would be the go.
When I first started growing the law hadn't caught up with hydroponic grows.
50 plants or more was a way more serious offence than under that limit so we grew 49 Super Skunk clones under a 400w HPS.
We turned them as soon as they had roots [so they were only a few inches tall]
Each plant had few branches, mainly one big cola.
That Super Skunk was seriously strong weed.
Most who ignored my warning to wait a bit before they punched a 2nd cone ended up in the backyard and had a chat to Ralph.

Nice thread @ Elric
Small grows, cuttings are ok as @ Heir has said.. A cutting does not have the main tap root as you get from a seed. Way less stash in the end result.
20 years ago in Australia i was buying my plants from a grower that had the knack for growing beautiful trees. Super skunk..The root system was twice the size of the plant. $1,000 FOR 5 TREES.
5 x 1000 watts and i would only put one plant per grow light.
Every 12 weeks around 2.4 pounds per tree.
I was stealing the electricity from the lines directly. did this for many years. One dude used to buy all of it from me. My friends and family would get it for free. I don't feel guilty, i was providing a service.
Since moving to Thailand i grow two Sativa Landraces outdoors. Sticks, Thai Buddha which was the first strain to hit American shores (thai that binds). And Chocolate. These can grow to 20+ feet tall, no joke.
The conditions here allow for it. More like a tree than a shrub or plant.
I top them often in the vegative stage and they still get to 8 or nine + feet. They keep growing through the flowering cycle. I tie the flowers to the ground.
I planted 9 trees yesterday in the garden that have been growing in pots for 6 weeks.
Grow season here is all year around. Seed germination is extremely easy. Seed in a small pot with pig manure mixed with soil is how i do it. In the shade and protected from heavy rains. About 4 days and they take off..
Pig manure has been sitting in the soil for many months. Otherwise too strong.
Landrace do not cope well with nutrients. If you grow these indoor i would use half of whatever they reccomend. Outdoor just good healthy compost. They also like to stay dry for a week or two before watering..
Nowadays i don't sell it. Barter some of it for some whisky or beer and give most of it away.
Landrace typically take longer to grow, up to 8 months or more.

Me and my buddy grew pot in High School. Had an out of the way place.
Things learned:
1. Cannibis needs rich acidic soil.
2. The soil needs to be well drained but needs to stay moist in hot environments.
3. Needs full sun the first half of the day.
4. Do Not use stuff like miracle grow on it - feed with manure/compost only.
5. We used to grow ours in a corn field. Then tie the tall stalks to the corn plants.
6. We also planted beans around the plants to fix nitrogen.
Hope this helps. It worked for me 40 years ago.
